Magic Mountain
Navajo sandstone is Nature's clay. Time and geology transform it into some incredible formations. In this expansive monolith, the original colorant was subsequently bleached creating white paths among the swirling colors. Perched high near the edge of a canyon, this rock is visible from miles away. Its yellow color is apparent, but its subtle variations are not. Only after hiking to it are the delicate hands of the sculptor revealed.
