This was my original concept of what images from this place would look like. Strong vertical or horizontal compositions with layered elements to create an abstract composition. While I like what can be done with this approach and it is true to what is found here, it also feels a bit confining, especially if the goal is abstraction. Still, I think this image is indicative of the amazing light that can be found here. It is indeed very much like a slot canyon in the way it offers unique and unexpected light.
