First Lightning
As the evening glow faded and the sky turned a steely blue, another storm approached from the west. It was slightly north of our location and at first did not appear like it would develop into much. It sputtered a bit of lightning, but with the heat of the day now fading, there didn't seem to be enough momentum for another big event like the one that had just passed. The light was right, though, for long exposures that would allow lightning to be captured as it made its brief appearance. This was one of the first bolts.
