The beauty of Nature can often be chaotic. The perfect flower might have a distracting background that makes composition difficult. A straight photograph would be purely documentary with many elements competing for the viewer's attention. Art, however, isn't limited by reality, and digital photos lend themselves to being interpreted in a variety of ways. In this image, Topaz Studio 2 along with various Photoshop techniques were used to create a strong focus on the flower while abstracting the background to support the main subject.
